Overview: Bhandhavgarh National Park

Vindhya Hills in Madhya Pradesh are home to Bandhavgarh National Park. With a core area of 105 square kilometres and a buffer area of almost 400 square kilometres, Bandhavgarh National Park has a variety of topographical features, including high ridges, undulating terrain, forests, and open meadows. The Royal Bengal Tigers are famous for inhabiting Bandhavgarh National Park. The largest known tiger population density in India is found at Bandhavgarh.

Formerly the Maharaja of Rewa’s hunting refuge, Bandhavgarh National Park is now a well-known natural hotspot for White Tigers. The first White Tigers were found in Rewa, not far from here, and are now a popular attraction in zoos all over the world. The landscape is uneven, with rocky hill ranges running roughly east to west and grassy meadows scattered throughout.
